Dois anos de uso diário do Centrum Silver elevaram levemente o DHA e os ácidos graxos ômega‑3 em adultos mais velhos e atenuaram o aumento típico da creatinina, segundo a análise do ensaio randomizado COSMOS. Os scores metabolômicos de risco para 16 doenças crônicas também diminuíram, e os sete relógios de envelhecimento biológico indicaram de 0,5 a 1,05 ano(s) de idade biológica a menos.
