Період напіввиведення пептиду – 5,8‑8,1 дня, а IGF‑I залишався підвищеним до 28 днів після повторних доз. Серйозних побічних реакцій не зафіксовано, дози 30‑60 µg/кг були найкраще переносимі. Дослідження 2006 року вимірювало лише гормони та безпеку, а не м’язову масу, жир чи фізичну продуктивність.
