虚弱の高齢者は血中NAD+が低い―NMN/NRが示す意味

2025年に実施された伊藤橋長寿調査のデータを用いた新しい GeroScience の研究で、虚弱状態にある高齢者は血中 NAD+ がやや低いことが分かりました。NAD+ が 1 µmol/L 増えると虚弱リスクが約 13％低下するという統計的関連が示された一方で、対象は 529 名中わずか 32 名（約 6 %）の虚弱者で、中央値の差はたったの 24 µmol/L と 25 µmol/L です。ヘマトクリットで補正すると関連は弱まり、赤血球比率が結果に影響している可能性が示唆されました。この結果は NMN や NR が虚弱予防に有効であることを示すものではありません。
