Fisetin, biljni flavonoid, pokazao se kao najefikasniji senolitič među deset ispitivanih jedinjenja u često citiranoj studiji iz 2018. godine u EBioMedicine. Kod starih miševa, tretman koji je započet kasno u životu smanjio je markere senescencije, ublažio patološke promene povezane sa starošću i produžio i srednji i maksimalni vek. Problem je što su to podaci iz miševa i laboratorije, a ne završeni klinički ispit na ljudima.
