Fisetin senolitički produžio životni vijek miša – ljudski dokaz još nedostaje

Fisetin, biljni flavonoid, istaknuo se kao najsnažniji senolitički među deset spojeva u široko citiranoj studiji iz 2018. godine u časopisu EBioMedicine. Kod starijih miševa liječenje u kasnoj fazi života smanjilo je oznake senescencije, ublažilo patološke promjene povezane s dobi i produljilo i medijan i maksimalni životni vijek. Problem je što su to podaci iz miševa i laboratorija, a ne dovršeno ljudsko kliničko ispitivanje dugovječnosti. Ovaj članak objašnjava što su istraživači otkrili, što doziranje zaista znači i kome bi trebalo obratiti pažnju dok se ljudska istraživanja razvijaju.
